Eidsness switches teams

Earlier this week Eric Eidsness announced he was joining the Democratic party.
He was previously a Republican, and most recently ran against Marilyn Musgrave and Anggie Paccione as a Reform Party candidate.
So what do you think?
Is Eidsness' move to the democrats a good one?
